Prior to her arrival at Lake Brantley, she served Oviedo High School for the past 8 years in several capacities: English Language Arts Teacher (9th /10th grade), AP Research Teacher, Instructional Coach, Volleyball Coach, Club Sponsor, School Administration Manager, and Assistant Principal. She holds a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida (2020), Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Florida (2015), and a Bachelor's degree in English and Humanities from Stetson University (2012). She proudly boasts all three alma maters! Rachel is happily married to her husband, Nick, with whom they just welcomed their first child, Jack, in December 2022. In her free time, you'll find her cooking a new recipe, spending time with friends and family, enjoying a walk around the neighborhood, or traveling somewhere new. Rachel is a dedicated lifelong learner and is excited to serve the LBHS community this upcoming school year!
