PIT crew description: Peer Inclusion Team (PIT crew) provides academic, social, and interpersonal support for students with disabilities on our campus. PIT crew promotes campus-wide inclusion through positive relationships with others. This leadership program allows students to take on essential roles in event planning, critical thinking, communication, and peer support. 
All applicants will go through an interview process.

Peer Counseling Course Description:
Daily activities provide opportunities for students to become better listeners, more supportive with peers and develop personal growth.  The content includes such topics as listening, questioning, feedback, empathy, group cohesiveness, problem solving, decision making & leadership skills.  Students are involved in a variety of learning experiences including structured class discussions, supporting underclassmen along with service projects on & off campus.

Young Men and Women of Excellence Course Description:
Young Men and Women of Excellence (YMWOE) is a unique program designed to develop African American and other student groups into successful leaders while promoting a way of life that exemplifies excellence. YMWOE empowers students by providing guidance in goal setting, collaborative problem-solving, communication and presentation skills, strategies for academic success, cultural awareness, career planning and the development of an entrepreneurial mindset. The classroom experience is complemented by interactions with a variety of community speakers, college visits and field trips to local businesses and community service opportunities.
