Students have the opportunity to develop their artistic and digital skill-set while preparing for a future career. For the 2023-2024 school
year, students can choose from five available pathways 3D Animation, Digital Audio Production, Digital Photography, and
Interior Design! This program includes industry certification.
This program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare
for further education and careers in the Arts, A/V Technology and Communication career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency,
and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation specific skills, and knowledge of
all aspects of the Arts, A/V Technology and Communication career cluster.

content includes, but is not limited to, communication skills,
leadership skills, human relations and employability skills,
safe and efficient work practices, and the use of digital camera
techniques, commercial and industrial applications with emphasis
on composition and color dynamics, printing, work flow, software
and use, care, and maintenance of photographic equipment.

INTERIOR DESIGN
Students will gain an understanding of the elements and
principles of design. Students will learn to make appropriate
selections of colors, fabrics, furnishings, lighting and furniture.
Students will develop skills in architectural drafting and space
planning through the use of hand or computerized drafting
techniques. Students with apply math calculations to scale rooms
and create scaled floor plans for a variety of spaces. Class projects
include decorating sample rooms and designing floor plans.
Students will also explore potential careers in the architecture and
design fields. Students that complete three and four years in the
program also have the opportunity to earn college credit for two
courses at Seminole State College.

3-D ANIMATION
This program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent
and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards
and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare
for further education and careers in the Arts, A/V Technology and
Communication career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency,
and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes
to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills,
technical skills, and occupation specific skills, and knowledge
of all aspects of the Arts, A/V Technology and Communication
career cluster. The content includes, but is not limited to, practical
experiences in 3-D Animation design and production. Specialized
skills such as video editing, audio production, and the utilization
of animation and authoring software are used to produce a variety
of multimedia productions.
